Who we are

Gamecock EMS is a student-run volunteer organization at the University of South Carolina-Columbia. Our members provide free first responder coverage at campus and community events, run a discounted EMT-B course in conjunction with Midlands EMS, and teach CPR, AED, First Aid, and BLS to students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community.

We work closely with surrounding agencies, such as RCEMS, CPD, and USCPD to ensure that all public safety needs are met.

Gamecock EMS is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations made to Gamecock EMS are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and go directly toward equipment, training, and free community coverage.
